I've been slowly easing myself back into anime via Trigun and Gundam Wing, and I've heard friends rave about Full Metal Alchemist, but I've yet to understand the plot. Maybe I'm being a tad slow, but it just seems a little complicated to me. Is it worth working through the confusion?
without a shadow of a doubt! Personally I adore it (you should've heard me squeal when I first saw it at EXPO), and although complicated it's definately worth it. For some reason it's less complicated when you watch it in English. No idea why. It's one of the few series I will watch in English because the dubbing isn't hideous. :)
